Does anyone know why they got rid of this as an option?

Ford's trend is to drop factory options that aren't selling well (for increased assembly-line efficiency and economics) but who really cares in this case?

You can get the same as a Ford Accessory, if you want it financed with your truck you can have the dealer install 'em and roll into the purchase price.

Then of course there's the aftermarket versions which some of us prefer for various reasons and that probably contributed to reduced demand from the factory.

I have a 2024 Lariat 502a w/ BAP and had the dealer install the Ford rear wheel well liners before picking it up. I paid $279 plus tax to have them installed. IMO, they should be included from the factory. I followed the same process when I purchased my 2021 Lariat 502a.

Weren’t on my 23 Tremor. So first, I had the wells Line-X'd. Then I added the Husky well liners. Very pleased with how it turned out.

Aftermarket options are available, possibly better quality, and easy to install

How did it look with just the LIne-X? I have a 2024 XLT with the BAP and was thinking about using a Rustoleum black spray can paint / rust protection. Already installed the Husky flaps all around. Thanks

I bought mine from Amazon for a little over $100 and they fit perfectly, no holes to drill uses existing holes. They look like they were there from the dealer.

I noticed that the wheel well liners were no longer listed as an option as well. I am not sure what is up with that.

I had already purchased (but not installed) the Husky liners just prior to bringing the truck to Line-X for the bed to be sprayed. Didn't know they did the wheel wells, but the price to add them in was too good to pass up. Had I not already bought the Huskys I probably would have left it with just Line-X. It looked and looks that good.

I was also fortunate enough that the Line-X shop I used does really top-notch work so that probably made at least a bit of difference. Not sure it's worth a stand-alone purchase, though. YMMV.

So maybe a can or two of Rustoleum liner spray might do the trick.
