I made the jump from a Chevy colorado ZR2 to a PB CCSB F150.. I don't regret it at all. Not much bigger, but bigger where you want it (bed space, rear seat, flat floor, center console, etc). I do miss the suspension, turning radius, and off road clearances of the ZR2, but not the lack of space inside and out, or the lack or modern tech. The suspension and clearances are easy to improve on the F150, and the on board generator mode of the PB is super useful. So far I haven't missed the front locker of the ZR2; between the traction control settings and the rear locker I haven't had any issues getting where I want to go

Nice write up and great pics. I switched from a Jeep Gladiator to F150. I switched mainly because I wanted more room and more power, as opposed to any brand loyalty. Just really needed a bit more truck, which seems like part of your calculus as well. I would've gone with with a 1500 if they were just a bit quicker, really like the looks of them. I do have a lot of history with Ford though, mostly very positive, so it wasn't a stretch at all to go for the F150. No real complaints so far.
