May 3, 2021
Platnium, 5.0, Antimatter Blue, with standard 6.5 bed, FX4
Order was converted to a 2022 in Oct of 21, received email from Ford after beginning of 22 that my truck was scheduled for middle of March
Got another email saying it was pushed to April
Then yet another email, moved up to week of March 28
Now, according to my dealer, truck is being built March 30th…
Holding my breath until the 31st!

I've been just over a year. Had a 2021 built and delivered, but the dealer made a big mistake on the order and now waiting for a 2022 that was ordered when they opened it to dealers. Maybe I'll get a 2023.

Probably did, plus they said they were going to not schedule retail orders and only do custom orders, as well as try to clear out all outstanding orders from June to November.

WOW I thought I got I had a severe case of GOTCHA when I ordered mine in August 2021 and didnt get it until Dec 2021. You got m,e beat hands down

This is "reassuring" considering I have not received an email from Ford confirming my order 2 months ago. My dealer didn't get my email right and Customer Service says I will not receive an update until a VIN is assigned.

Please forgive me, I am sure this question has been asked a million times, but where can I go to get updates? I am sure there are some of you who have this tracking down to an art. I see MANY posts, but looking for a concise "tutorial" without having to wade through a bazillion complaints or side conversations about what aftermarket parts will be added. I'm just want to know where to look to know what to expect and monitor production info from Ford.

I got an initial e-mail from Ford back in October 2022 indicating my order had been placed, but no order number (though it was printed on the dealer order form that the dealer provided me). There was no link to follow anything and no news until I received my "your order has been scheduled" e-mail last Friday (5 months after the previous e-mail), which included the assigned VIN.

This new e-mail had a link that allows me to go see the status of my order, at least, so once you get the assigned VIN you can then follow along. So AFAIK (based solely on my own experience) until you get that VIN e-mail you just suffer in complete silence.

Thanks Michael. That's what I was expecting. I ordered a KR with Max Tow and 360 Camera. A dealer is posting that these options (as an added option) won't be available until 2023.

When did you place your order? If you look at one of my previous posts in this thread, there was apparently a shift last week where Ford removed some options for all future orders, but supposedly it shouldn't affect orders already placed. However, I'm not 100% clear on this, or if my own truck will be built potentially without some tech modules that a dealer would need to install later.

Yeah - that. Like I said, I'm not clear either. All I know is I will accept/deal with missing modules that WILL be added by the dealer later (though I don't like it), but I will NOT accept a truck that cannot be made whole as I originally ordered it. That's the whole point of _ordering_ - to get exactly what I want.

I ordered from Koons in Woodbridge, VA, mid-December 2021. I had my order updated last week to remove spray-in bed liner, wheel well liner, and max recline. Still no VIN.
