Be sure to read the fine print on that whipple and ford warranties…last time I looked at it, it said you had to stay within +-10% of the factory tire size.

Really good info, thanks! Looks like a 35" is still plenty within spec... only about +6.5% (unless I'm understanding incorrectly?). I wonder what other sneaky gremlins are in all that paperwork.

I take that back…it is 15% of the original tire size.
I have found and quoted just one of the line items in their warranty paperwork regarding tire size and other modifications:

“Abuse related to overloading, PCM recalibration or lack of using the Whipple calibration, misuse, negligence, road conditions, unapproved tire size and/or tire compound, and other non-approved modifications. Approved modifications are limited to the following: exhaust modifications beyond the catalytic converter (referred to as cat-back or post cat); wheel and tire modifications that are within fifteen percent (15%) of OEM or factory-equipped size (modified tires are only allowable if they're one hundred percent (100%) street compound).”

Geez, that throttle body must be really loud to give up the power. I haven't heard one myself so I don't know.

I'm thinking of throwing one on with my Borla ATAK exhaust
