Folks, anyone bought/installed wheel-well liners? Do they really do anything more than looks? If its about cleaning dirt and grime, isn't it easier powerwashing dirt off bare metal instead of textured plastic well liners?

I put them on my 2013 for looks, couldn't stand seeing the gap. My 25 came with them.

Used the ford ones, but mostly for looks. Seeing the light colored paint in the gaps bothered me.

Your in Texas so other than cosmetics they probably don't offer much benefit. Here in the rust belt they help keep corrosion at bay by deflecting salt spray from the frame and underbody components. If your worried about looks then spraying the inside with black paint is less expensive.

I did on both my 12 and 24, using OEM. They fit great and keep mud and rocks from accumulating around the frame and such. It also looks much much better. Can't stand that ford goes that cheap .

I put Husky liners on my 2024 because it looked horrible on a white truck. They did require some trimming.

Manitoba. Bought OEM. Happy to keep winter grit and grime from bombarding the underbody. Texas that calculation might not factor so much. But they do look better as well in my opinion and particularly on lighter coloured trucks

Cleans up the look back there and its alot easier to clean up in there as well.....hated cutting myself on the inner fender edge or the seam where the 2 pieces meet when i reached in there with a short brush

Depending on where you live and what you use your truck for they are priceless for not letting your wheel wells get ate to sh#t, and as other have mentioned, accumulation of crap around your frame there.

I haven't, but the factory liners on my XL don't have very good coverage so I'd like to find something that will keep more dirt out of my engine bay.

Nope, I think the painted factory metal looks much better! Damaging road grit and salt is plenty easy to clean out when it's not trapped behind plastic liners. I keep my truck clean and don't drive gravel roads so I expect it will look great for as long as I own the truck.

I put Husky's on mine. Hit them with a little 303 and the snow just slides or pops off.....we're expecting 6-8 inches on Saturday :cautious:

EDIT.....we got 10 inches.
