USB plug covers in the backseat should have a better design than the current one of extending out while a plug is being used - many people tend to leave a USB cord plugged in for when needed (my wife uses those plugs and extends the cord p to her passenger seat in front). When in use, the open door is an easy target to be broken off by cargo or even a wondering rear seat passenger knee. If you need a cover (not sure that they do), it should slide and stay flush instead of swing open (or make the door more sturdy than the plastic one they have). I broke the doors on my 2018 and see that they re-used the same configuration in the 2021. Minor? Yes. But its all that I could come up with after driving for a week.

Plug in for the hybrid and more powerful electric motor
I have a feeling they will do upgrades like this during this gen. Like more than 1.5kWh battery or more powerful, and plug in when it gets more capacity. Battery tech keeps getting better so it would be silly to keep using the same if this gen lasts 5 or 6 years.

Wish it had auto door locks - eg. you walk away and after so many seconds it would auto lock the truck if you forgot. Seems simple, basic and even inexpensive cars have had it for years. I would think they could do it with an OTA update, but at this point I wish it had that!
Did you ever find out if this was possible? My f150 XLT 2016 has it. Would be great to have on my new one as well!

2021 F150 on order
Just nice-to-haves, not must haves:

Have the Tesla-like ability to record with its cameras; so if theres a crash, you can have a recording of everything that went on.

Ability to play video on the 12"screen.

Maybe an air suspension.
you can play video on the screen. If you have a jailbroken iPhone and the carbridge app you can mirror the entire phone to the screen so any app you use you can mirror including YouTube etc

Minor, but maybe rear ventilated seats?

I’ve read higher trims level RAMs have them, but F-150s only get rear heated seats.

The doors not locking when you close and walk away is a huge miss. This is not hard to imagine how many owners want this. And considering how you really don't interact with your keyfob, it's not even an excuse to say its a reminder feature.

But let me just say this, above everything else from Lariat model down, why...the hell...are rain sensing wipers not standard.

That's my gripe.
I love this truck.

I wish they'd do a CoPilot Assist delete package for a $$ credit. Hate that crap. Lol

I really wish Ford would do a factory auto rear helper airbag setup like Ram does in their HD's. Not full air ride, but some sort of auto leveling airbag system to level out squat with payload.

Rear armrest on XLT trim. Silly it does not come with one. Reclining rear seats would be nice. The RAM Laramie and up do.

I only got the copilot 2.0. Decided not to spring for the extra assist 2.0 (lariat 501a). So you don’t like to use the adaptive cruise control?

I don't want any extra electronics, I don't use the adaptive cruise control in my present vehicle, I prefer the regular cruise.. As for an air suspension, you can keep it, we get -30 degrees, and everyone that I know with air suspensions has issues in the cold.
