Took my 21 for yet another recall (fuel Pump). After I got it back which they did nothing, I realized that my dash cam wasn't working. Upon inspection it was totally unplugged from the mirror. Would you go back and bitch about it? I have a picture of the mechanic in the process of unhooking it with greasy gloves.

Id for sure say something. You have every right to have it. It’s almost destruction of property. Just a shady mechanic it seems. Doing something he shouldn’t have been doing is what that screams to me.

I agree its not right, but disagree with what others are saying. It's not destruction of property, and don't commit battery against the mechanic lol. Just complain to the service manager. Depending on your states laws, they may be protected in this activity and are entitled to a reasonable expectation of privacy from video recording on their property. Again...I don't like shady activity, just being realistic

Wow, you got a piece of shit service manager as well.
I’m lucky enough to have three different dealerships within about 50 miles.

I would suggest finding another dealer. The service manager, in this case, it’s either a piece of shit manager/leader. He has no consideration for others property.

I forgot to mention those surveys that they sent out. Certainly do blast them with that rate them with a 1. Calmly and politely explain the situation both with mechanic and the statement the service manager made.

The surveys go above the dealer‘s head, it will force the ball into their court.
