Since I took delivery of my 24 Lariat 502A PB, I’ve researched and have seen a large number of leveling options on the market. Most of the pictures I see of the leveling kits installed still have a slight amount of rake. I’m looking for an option that eliminates rake entirely as I hardly haul or tow.

Knowing that the power boost is the heaviest motor out of the lineup, would I be correct in assuming that a 3” lift in the front would settle to 2.5” and this would make the truck close to level? I know removing the rear blocks is a popular options as well. Overall, the goal is to fit 34s and a negative offset wheel and be perfectly level to the eye without rubbing or having to remove crash bars if possible, all while maintaining factory ride quality.

So, if anyone has experience with this or better yet has some photos they can provide along with details of what was installed, that would be a huge help and would eliminate guess work for me.
Thanks

Get adjustable coil overs for the front and yank the rear blocks so you don’t have to preload the hell out of the fronts.

Fox or the like (2.5 or better) are a good choice. Bilstein 5100 or 6112 are a good lower cost option but the shock bodies will need to be threaded and adjust with a spanner wrench to get the stance perfectly level, so the Bilstein won’t be a good choice for you.

Also, spend the money and replace the UCAs.

Would any of those options diminish the factory ride quality? Sorry, I forgot to mention that as one of my major requirements in the original post, lol.

yes, most any suspension lift is going to affect the factory ride quality

If you go Fox 2.5 or better and replace your UCA’s your ride will be great. “Better” is very subjective. Depending on the package your truck has (FX4, etc) a stock F150 is pretty soft & floaty. Depends on if you like that or not.

Do not get the Fox 2.0 as the above post suggests. Anything with a snap ring is a pain to adjust after install, and doesn’t give you the ability to fine tune your ride height.

Thanks, I definitely love the stock softness, to me it rides amazing but this is after 4 years in a Porsche cayenne lol. I think the 2” coilovers and rear block removal is the move, however I’m feeling like trying to fit 34s maybe be hopeful to say the least? I just feel like 33s wouldn’t be that big of a change over the stock 32s my truck came with

I did the Fox 2.5’s and mine is level. It’s a Limited PB so I don’t have max tow. I would say a 0.5” loss is the going average on coil lift kits.
Ride is waaay better . Firm and controlled

Well if you’re not going to spend $2000 on 2.5s and then more on a uca, the snap rings are the best choice imo.

Plus whats to fine tune? Find out the height you want and set the snap ring there. Actual comes in exactly as listed in the directions
Definitely not trying to argue. It sounded to me by the first post that OP is after a perfectly level truck. In my experience (I’ve installed both) that’s damn near impossible with a snap ring coil over. Level is almost always in between 2 snap ring heights. Unless you wanna weight the bed after you install the suspension in front.

And adjusting a snap ring coil over already installed is difficult & time consuming and /or rather dangerous.

Honestly OP, unless you’re prepared to spend some serious coin and have either an install shop with a lot of expertise or are very handy yourself and enjoy wrenching, you are asking a lot. Level is pretty straightforward. Wanting 34’s and factory ride quality is more difficult. Also, these shocks have a 50k service interval and will need a rebuild after that amount of miles. Depending on where you live, winters are very hard on them also. And level in a PowerBoost with a good ride means dropping the rear a little, or your front coils will have too much preload. Ride quality suffers. You may be able to find a nice balance but it will cost you significantly.

Aside from a rear block removal and different rear shocks my truck is stock suspension wise. That’s no accident lol.

Good luck, I’m sure others will chime in with different suggestions.
