What happened to my Tow Hooks?

I recently bought a used 21 Platinum. I just realized that I dont see tow hooks on the front and as the best I can tell, they were standard on the truck. Sure the owner could have removed them but it appears there are covers there?

So you’re saying you just got holes in that front valance? Don’t think I’ve ever seen one without tow hooks.

Lol, that almost makes 2 of them out there. I traded my 03 Lariat off with a Westin grill Guard on it, I included the hooks and boots with the truck, I bet your truck once had a grill guard that someone removed. I was told after that the exporter that bought my truck took the grill guard off because it made less room on the car carrier.

He said it has covers. I'd assume it's possibly 2wd as if I remember right 2wd doesn't come with hooks.

My 2wd lariat powerboost also didn’t have them.. unfortunately to add them you are curing and bending the lower plastic there a bit.. but the kit is like $80 or $100 from ford for them

I just looked, they are not even available on the Canadian Order Guide.

Figured out what I did wrong, the PDF order guide I downloaded was for Canada. On page 20, 08/15/20, under exterior Standard Equip for Platinum it says "Hooks - Chrome Front Tow (2). I guess that there is an assumption (maybe) that all Canada trucks are 4 WD.

On the one I just found for the USA dated 08/01/20, under exterior Standard Equip for Platinum it says "Hooks, Chrome – Front Tow 4x4, two (2)."
