What did you do WITH your F-150 today?

Took the F150, Rzr, and 50 camping with my girlfriend and our pup. What was supposed to be a 2 night trip turned Into a frantic drive home to the emergency pet surgeon. Our sweet boy woke up totally fine and In an Instant his stomach twisted. Emergency surgery done, now up all night waiting for a call hoping he starts recovering. Fingers crossed, and hopefully I can find some more overtime for the bill.

I picked up my cousin in law on the side of the road as the tow truck was finishing up hooking up to his 2012 F350 that had just blown the engine. While hitching the 29’ apex trailer the tow truck drivers asked if my F150 could pull that. Pull it is easy, stopping and keeping it between the lines is the hard part. Seemed to work, but the 40mph winds made towing on the ball sporty.

Can’t wait to hear what failed on the F350.

As a somewhat updated to this. It turns out it’s 31’ ball to bumper and weights 6200lbs dry. I only know this because I had to go pick up the trailer on the side of the road again and rolled through a weight station out of curiosity. Yeah, another bad day for his Ford. This time the radiator blew 500 miles after the completely new 6.7 engine was installed. Rather suspicious failure after the better part of $30k of fixing being done.

Pulled like a charm without the wind today. I hate to say people underestimate the Powerboost, but the cargo capacity is an Achilles.

Totally agree about the Powerboost and the cargo capacity! Ended up buying. GMC 2500 to pull our trailer because of the cargo capacity

0000 Steel wool, followed by eagle one never dull, then alcohol, and then Krylon Fusion all in one Satin Black.

Driver’s training on some Ozarks backroads with my son and dogs was a success this weekend.

A muddy trail with the traction control off and rear locker engaged was his favorite…….but we didn’t tell mom about that part.

Saturday I drove 7 hours from Bendigo to Kowen Forest (Canberra) and shot the 100 target sporting clays event on Sunday and drove home (it's now 00:10 Monday here), got 1st in A grade which capped off a really enjoyable day. Some photos of a big moon on Saturday evening ?
