What Ceramic coating works for you?

Is this diy friendly and were you able to do yourself? How much does it cost and how long does it take?

Yes we did it ourselves. There is some prep work before you put on ceramic and it needs to stay dry for a few days after. It takes some time and some work on a big truck but it still looks good 4 months later. About $85 online.

I am being quoted $1000 to $1400. I can't park my car in garage. Is it still doable?

That’s up to you. I guess you can check the weather, find a covered parking spot, rent a tent or just leave it out. If that doesn’t work you know the quoted price.

I personally wouldn't attempt a legit ceramic coating outdoors.

Yes you can do it outside with no issues just watch the weather for rain if using the Meguires beyond ceramic.

I used Meguires on my wifes 2023 Lincoln corsair and after a year it looks great for @ 75 dollars with using the Meguires spray ceramic touch up every six months.

I used Turtle Wax Hybrid solutions Ceramic spray coating on my 2021 F150 and it still looks like glass today with a 30 minute re application every six months.

Both cars where done in the driveway with no ill effects and look fantastic! Don't let the detail shops wow you with names of "serum" special sauce and other pixie dust names with a worthless 6 year warranty which is only good if you keep paying the detail shop to apply a "maintenance" coating evey six months to a year. Cha Ching!

You can take care of your care in less time than it takes to deliver and pick up your truck and save a boat load of cash doing it yourself.
