Weird radio/cluster issue.

Hey all, had a weird thing happen with the truck the other day(2022 STX SCrew 5.0). Sitting in traffic at a light, and out of nowhere the radio volume turned down and displayed MyKey volume limit active. The gauge cluster also shut down and restarted, and the trip info disappeared and went to the digital speedo( I have an STX, so it's the basic screen cluster) Normally when I start the truck, trip 1 info is displayed, but now it will default to the digital speedo unless I remove it from the info pages. Anybody else experience anything similar? Not really a huge issue I suppose, but annoying nonetheless.

I had almost same issue while driving on interstate
At same time my navigation screen locked up appearing I was not moving no attempt at radio buttons would change it
Hour later I parked truck and when I cut key off restart navigation screen normal
I had to lock out screens in cluster for my preferred Trip one
Took to dealer no help
Said possibly update issue wanted hour labor to try update
No
Called another dealer told me try hard reset
Did that and it’s been fine since
Unhook battery cables for at least 20 seconds and touch them together while disconnected
Put them back on
Lock out screens you don’t want
Fine for 5 months now
I have crappy cell service at home and it may be a fouled update issue?

It could do this if you received an update while driving. Look into that. Just a thought.

Good point, and thats probably all it was considering it's been fine for 3 days now. Appreciate the replies, it's always fun learning all the quirks of a new truck!

With your VIN, I am able to check if you did get an update that day and if your Fordpass is connected, I can also check if your truck recorded any DTC's. PM me if you prefer to not post it publicly.
