Yes I remember seeing this on another post a while back.Anyone else seeing this? I was wondering why my door wouldn't close right and saw that it's missing pins to keep the weather stripping in.

Same thing happened to mine. I just stopped by the dealer and asked if they had a part available. They didn't have exactly the same part but similar enough to insert the pin and put the weather strip back.Anyone else seeing this? I was wondering why my door wouldn't close right and saw that it's missing pins to keep the weather stripping in.

I don't have rear doors but usually the weatherstripping is held on by friction, if the piece is deformed and won't stay put and on backorder at the dealership; weatherstripping and gasket adhesive should do the trick. Only a little bit is needed and it's also good for plastic trim pieces. It never completely dries, so it's good for parts that need to be removed:

Just had mine to the dealership for this exact issue last week. It appears 4-5 clips were not installed at the factory on both sides. Dealership fixed, but had to order parts.

I'm having this same issue. There only a clip at the top and bottom. Now my seal is getting misshapen. I just eat to know where I csn get the clips and I'll just fix it myself.Anyone else seeing this? My 2022 only had like 2 pins in from the factory. Dealers around me said they couldn’t even look at it for like 4 days and I would have to drop it off cause they couldn’t do appointments. Honestly, ford needs to get their service figured out. After looking forever, I finally found a part number for these tiny pins. I haven’t got them in yet but are ordered. I will update this post once received and confirmed. Should be here next week.

Thank you for this, realized mine was missing some of these retainers as well. Any chance you know the part number for the retainers that go into the four brackets that are on this same weatherstrip part? Two of mine are loose so I’m thinking I might replace those while I’m at at it
