The issue of piston and ring stabilization is important. So a couple of minutes is good for a long lived engine. The rest of the warm up is less important but keep in mind that those fluids are thick, so don't punch it. :)

When it’s cold out I’ll remote start 5-10 minutes before leaving and the ICE always kicks in to warm itself and heat the cabin. Agreed with everyone to take it easy on the rest of the truck till it has had a chance to warm up too.

The only time the truck gets extra time is when I’m trying the get the wife out of the house, sometimes have to go into the app and hit the +15 minutes button ? usually by then it is flipping to electric mode so I don’t feel terribly guilty about wasting gas.

It's very unusual for my tropical Powerboost to be subjected to these short term frigid temps. So I don't necessarily have a tried and true coldstart routine.
What I have been doing recently is starting the truck in Tow Haul mode and letting ICE contribute its influence on heating things up.

Basically I'm just overriding any EV potential until I think it's warmed up enough to hand the reins back to Ford's automation.
Really no different than me locking out 9th & 10th everytime I shift to D on my daily commute. I know of no time during that 47 miles that my truck would be in the 2nd or 3rd overdrive gear ratio if it had a 3rd pedal. ?

I also am in the habit of switching to Tow Haul shortly before I arrive home or the office, in an effort to park the truck with a fully charged HV battery.
There are several reasons that I now believe that's insurance for my next trip leg.

I used the PB as a 12v power source to keep the MME alive last night and found all sorts of interesting things it does. Tried to capture as much data on it as I could, found some very interesting data points on its behavior. Take for instance its ability to generate HV power at 1250 RPM -- I saw it outputting at least 18kW. Took notes and screen shots. The behavior I was seeing was odd/interesting and left me w/ more questions. DC/DC was outputting 165a at one point. Whatever 12v SOC I'm using is watching the aux batt as well. When I started it was 85% SOC and not even 10 minutes later is was showing 100%. I really need to put it all together in another post at some point.

Yesterday, took the truck over to my son's house, about 10 miles one way. The truck had been sitting 3 or more days, with mid 20's at night and in the 30's during the day.

Almost as soon as I had pressed the starter button the ICE came on and ran for 3 or more minutes. Probably because the Li battery was low. By the time we left the driveway the engine was quite warm. Also the heated seats were warm. Mrs Atlee does love those heated seats that came on the XLT 302A.

We have been hitting 0F in my area and I always plug in the block heater over night and auto start the truck for 10-15 minutes before taking off. As mentioned by others, I also take it easy on the throttle for the first mile or so. It is worth mentioning that I also connect the battery to a trickle charger every Sunday night. I do a lot of short distance driving and use the auto start daily in winter so it is important to stay on top of that battery charge.

...I also connect the battery to a trickle charger every Sunday night.
I'm curious on their charging algorithms for the 12v SLA battery.
I have a NOCO Genius 5A charger, SLA chemistry selected, permanently on the battery and it will draw 71 watts for a LONG time every day when I plug it in.
Today I plugged in the truck before shutting the engine off and noticed it still was dumping 5A into the battery, as if the battery wasn't fully charged after driving an hour.
