VLinker FS USB vs OBDLinkEX

I got the VLinker because it advertised "made for For scan" all over, but many of the instructions online say to get the ODBLinkEX.

Is one better than the other?

VLINKER might work.... But, if you have issues you would be on your own with troubleshooting. OBDLinkEX has been fully vetted by members of this forum, so I would recommend returning the VLINKER.

The Vlinker and OBDLink for a long time were the only cables FORScan would vouch for. As of a few months ago, FORScan dropped the Vlinker due to them not updating their firmware to cater to certain changes with the newer version of FORScan, so they dropped the VLinker.

With that said, I still have a VLinker and have used it with no issues.
