I read somewhere a rumor that things like Android Auto might have code coming that leverages the onboard in-motion logic to allow apps that have been traditionally been blocked to be allowed if not in motion.

Don't know how true it is, but is that what is pictured above?

My god been waiting for this. not for my powerboost, not here yet but for my clarity. Seems like a no brainer if disabled in motion.

If it’s free, it’s me! I don’t care as much anymore but it’s a nice feature. The kenwood I used to have installed I just jumped the E brake wire and let the music videos play. Times were simpler then.

Unfortunately it doesn't look like it will be available in motion. I installed the CANOPENER a few months back and it doesn't limit me at all while in motion.

If you have Android, look into a 3rd party app called CarStream. You won't find it in the Play Store. I've been streaming full screen YouTube on my truck for months; even while driving. The app itself can be a little glitchy, but it works.
