For my truck that rattle is the mirror bolt covers on the doors. Driver's side more than passenger side. Felt tape worked for a while but they're back now. Thinking I may do some thick double sided tape with felt on it this time.
Do you do this on the clips themselves or around the edge of that "sail"?

Dealer replaced my BCM due to non-functioning bed lights. Since they did that I now have a rattle on the passengers side. If I hold the glove box it goes away. Back to the dealer tomorrow.

I have found the cabin air filter enclosure cover to be very difficult to get open and then reinstalled. So go look at this first, if you didn't change your filter yourself, the guy who did may not have gotten is seated correctly.

I had a similar vibration from behind my glove box. Took it to the dealer and they torqued the bolts on the BCM to spec. I think they used chassis ears to find it.

If that doesn’t fix it for you, I had to remove the upper glove box, disassemble it, and add 3M sticky tape in between the upper glove box door and the front plate it is attached to (fixing the vibration from above revealed another for me)

Had this done last year and no rattling since then.
If you have instructions how to disassemble that upper box that would be much appreciated.

Is the BCM up under the dash on the passenger footwell?

Figured I'd share my experience in the event it helps others.

I had a very bad rattle the day I drove the truck off the lot. The dealer found that one and put some foam under the window weatherstripping. I added a little more of my own felt in the same area because when pushing on the weatherstripping it still made a bit of noise.

With that said, I still had a louder (though not horrendous like before dealer did their thing) rattle especially on more harsh/sudden bumps. I think I mentioned the notecards between the A-Pillar and dash seemed to eliminate that noise. So I put felt in the areas between the A-Pillar cover and the dash.

I also put felt around the edge of the "sail" and around the clip holes and where the sail touches the plastic on the door panel.

The louder big bump noise seems to still be gone.

But I have a fairly quiet, near continuous tapping still going on. It sounds to me like a wire harness or connector. I was digging under the passenger footwell under the gloveboox to look for that BCM (I think you can see it without removing anything, if I'm looking at the right part). The under-dash cover touches what I think is the BCM so I put some felt there. Then I also pulled off the fuse box door and noticed a wire connector just dangling there, not connected to anything. I'm wondering if this might be my light noise. If it was tapping on some plastic I could see that being the noise. (FYI the connector was behind that plastic panel, I just noticed it loose and pulled it out for a photo)

So will probably wrap that connector in felt and reinstall and take it for a drive.

Fingers crossed I've found it. If I can get rid of this last little tapping noise I should finally have a silent cabin!

Exactly like that!

That makes 3! lol

I have a 21 Lariet powerboost I got it with 42,000 miles I noticed it shortly after I purchased. I noticed it shortly after I brought it home. What do you drive when did you notice your vibration?
