I have a 2023 f-150 King Ranch with 5.0 with only about 3800 miles.
Whenever someone sits in the passenger side seat with ventilated seat turned on, after about 20 minutes a revving noise starts and sounds about once per minute, this also creates a vibration in the seat when sounding. Also there is a water dripping noise. Note the seat does continue to work through this but it is annoying. I’m curious if others are having this issue or if someone was able to fix? I have it scheduled for another service to try and fix the a/c issue of fan not working also after about 20 minutes. That issue appears to be very common but this issue with the seat seems to be new or undocumented.

Hi there! Will you send us a message with your VIN and your local Ford dealer? I can look into things on my end.

OP - Were you able to get this resolved? Noticed something similar in my passenger seat when the ventilation is set to level 3.

Yes the dealer did resolve it after two appointments. They changed out the top seat motor first and it was worse , then changed out the bottom and that did the trick so far anyways. I didn’t have it in many warm days after the fix before winter, but it was certainly the seat fan motors causing the noise. The annoying part was I needed to prove the noise to them and go swing by the dealership when the noise was occurring, as they “couldn’t replicate” the first time I brought it to them for it. So 4 trips to the dealer later it got fixed.

Very helpful, thank you! I’ll pencil this one into my gremlins list and take a video next time it recurs for the dealership.
