How is everybody jacking up their trucks?
My 21 screw is levelled and I have 34.5 inch tires (295/70/18).
Using the frame jack points under the driver floor area, my floor jack works fine for the OEM tires, but won't lift the truck high enough to get the 295 tires off the ground.

My trolly jack only lifts 20 inches. I had to put a 1 1/2 thick patio stone under the jack to get the truck high enough to do my summer tire swap.

I would prefer not to rely on a patio stone. Does anyone have a jack that lifts more than 21 inches safely or are you all using a different jack point?

Time to spend more money on stuff to work on your truck now. Big tires and leveling kits are great till you need to work on them. Big heavy tires. Mud and dirt where it normally isn't. Uncomfortable to work under the hood. It's a young man's game.

I have a leveled Tremor on 295/70r18 and have used the scissor jack that came with the truck. Works when needing to pop a wheel off real quick.

I use a Strongway off road jack at home. If I need to change a tire on the road, I’ll use the factory jack under the rear axle or front LCA.

Thanks. I thought that I saw somewhere that you shouldn't pick these trucks up by the lower control arm?

Maybe. But I have not seen that and I’ve used my older floor jack (before I got the Strongway) on the LCA without issue.

I am looking to pick up a Toyota mechanical bottle jack though to replace the scissor jack. I’d still use it on the axle or LCA on the road.

Ordered a good jack and handle that comes in a hard plastic case. Locked in bed of truck, under tonneau. With a complete setup of wheels and tires so just a swap, no small spare.

No jacking on aluminum control arms, unless you know what your doing and where to place it. Steel arms, go for it. Happy jacking.

This one works great in my driveway. On trail have to use scissor jack first then put this underneath, pretty safe stable though. Cat makes a nicer one.

This ones awesome on trail but pain in the ass to strap down in bed. heavy as Fock. (hurts my back)

We were thinking about one of these conversions. lighter weight more compact. Prob without wheels. So stores easy. basically need a plate on trail. We thought it would be good for 4runners with more limited space. (hmmm Broncos?

Its a requirement in our group to have tire repair kit and tools to change to your full size spare on trail by yourself, then we all pitch in when the sheet happens. LOL
Having one person in a group with an off road jack, another with farm jack, one bottle, nice options.
Tall bottle jack and a good board for sand might do it all. Farm jacks work but scare the crap out of me and cumbersome/heavy There's some new weird contraptions out there now too..
