So how would one prevent the l-track on the bed floor from filling with crud? Or freezing over solid? I'd guess just don't use if for pickup stuff and stay where its warm.![]()
Image stolen from other F-150 forum. This guy installed l-track in his bed. I plan to do the upper corners highlighted in red in my box. When I haul lumber I would like to be able to strap down the front to keep it from moving around in addition to my tie down spot on the tailgate. A 6 inch piece of l-track fits perfectly in the red box spots.

I have a similar t-slot arrangment on a utility trailer that I also use to haul firewood, hay, manure, etc. Tracks are a PITA to keep clear so that an anchor can be inserted.
