Turning back the clock (adding deletes back to my 22 701a to make it more like a 21)

Well, some of you may remember that I traded in my 501 converted to 502 back to 501 lariat a week ago and got a 22 platinum high (4x4 PB BAP in rapid red). We all know there’s been several factory deletes and I plan to add back the APA, the MCS, rear cupholder with spring fingers, cup holder/media bin/glove box ambient lighting and *maybe* the second ambient lights back into each door. There may be a couple of other things as well, such as moving forward in time and adding the dual BAP exhaust that now comes on 2023 PB’s.

I’ll update more later when I have more time. Let me know what I’ve left off the list!

I've never used the APA. I could see the sensors being connected having utility for the front right corner. Assuming they haven't changed any of the harnesses, it should be pretty easy. 360 cams make it redundant.

“Mods” I have already done:
Husky bed mat
Husky wheel well liner
FP black exhaust tip
White LED license plate lights

Took about 20 mins total

I forgot to mention I also have an HVAC module that has the temp readouts that I plan to swap in

When I sold my black lariat I took the rear cup holder with spring fingers out of it and put them in my work truck, today I took that out of my work truck and put it in the platinum. So I got that taken care of.

I’ve been waiting to do the ambient lights until I was able to swap the HVAC module as well and I just haven’t been able to make time to do it yet. But this morning I just signed the paperwork on a second home, so needless to say I’ve been a bit busy lol.

Saturday after the gym I stopped by the local dealer parts department and had them order all the parts to retrofit the MCS

Today I complete the HVAC module swap to get the temp read outs back in place, and I installed the 3 lights (cupholder, media bin, and glove box). I also activated glare free lighting and removed the temp readouts from the top of the sync screen since I no longer need it.

I had the battery disconnected for a bit and also had the push button start removed. After about 15 minutes of this, I heard, what I assume was the sub woofer thumping over and over again. Being a PB, I guess it always has power unless you disconnect the hybrid battery too? It freaked me out, I thought something electronic in the truck blew.

Tomorrow I'll do the IPMA swap and all of my FDRS updates. It'll be a long day.

On a serious note; I wish that there was an interior chrome delete option available for the Southwest. Even driving around with sunglasses, I’ll still get blinded by a glint of sunlight off the stupid chrome bezels!

FDRS Update day:
So far I have done PCM, ABS, TCU, WACM, HCM, BCM, and working on GWM. I’m assuming I’ll have an APIM update pop up as well during all of this. This GWM is going to take a while. I’m downloading the USB data and it’s taken about 20 mins to download the first half of the data

Good lord that APIM was about 5 hours. After that there was a small GWM update that went quickly followed by one simple TCU update.

I stopped by my dealer parts place today and they are waiting for 4 more parts to be delivered. I also had them get the ML3Z-15K861-SBPTM driver side sensor retainer for the head bumper on order. I’m getting All of the MCS parts as well as the dual exhaust pipes from them
