I went out to start my truck this morning and every light on the dash came on but truck wont start. I thought it was the battery at first so my neighbour helped me jump it but that also didn’t work. Not sure yet if this is a battery or starter issue but I have towed it to my local dealer
and they will take a look at it after the long weekend. Anyone else have this issue and know what it is?

My truck did the same thing, was so dead that it couldn't be jump started, I had a battery in my shop that would fit so I swapped batteries and drove it to the dealer.
Dealer had it for 1 day and when I got it back They gave me a copy of "TSB21-2097 Discharged Battery/no Crank," they reprogrammed the gateway module and I haven't had a problem since..
The reprogramming of the module by the dealer shows up as an OTA on the fordpass app

I’ve got a voltmeter that plugs into the cigarette lighter that works great for testing batteries as well as diagnosing charging system problems. They really ought to have a digital volt readout on the dash.

One of the best ways to see if your battery is weak is by how much the voltage drops when you crank the engine over. Having it in the car means being able to check it by yourself and after the reports of weak batteries, I've kept mine in the truck and plug it in every once in a while before I key over the truck. Back in the day, you would need to pop the hood and make someone else start it while you probed the battery terminals with a multimeter.

Hi Joe, What did the dealership determine was wrong with your truck? I am having the same problem. I dove it to work with no problems and came out 9 hours later and it wouldn’t start. The dashboard lit up with several items. I tried to jump it and nothing. Tested the battery and it was good. Had to have it towed to the dealership and they are telling me they can’t even look at it for possibly 2-3 weeks.

Hi there! Can you send us a private message with your VIN and Ford dealership name? I’ll look into this on my end. Thanks!

Try dropping a known good battery in it
