These things are so dam cool, but all this can be tiring.

Makes me miss my old CJ-7 with a gas tank, a carburetor, a battery, points and a alternator. You could break down and actually open the hood and maybe get back on the road yourself back in the day....

@Mani I suggest working with local dealer before getting the above tech support script readers involved. They can just complicate your issue and piss off local dealer. Ford support is great though if local dealer is being an ass.
I second this. I reached out to them with my issue and they told me about my windshield wiper recall. Nothing to do with my problem and then asked if there was anything else they could help with? Yeah, the actual problem I had. Pointless and when I asked them about my real problem they brought in a truck specialist who didn’t do much other than check with the dealer for updates. Which the dealer was giving me anyways.

So here's the update I have so far..
We found an open communication causing issue with the truck to start. We are tracing wires and harness to module that in the dashboard.
They say it will be a few days and that they are taking the dashboard and center console.

So here's the update I have so far..
We found an open communication causing issue with the truck to start. We are tracing wires and harness to module that in the dashboard.
They say it will be a few days and that they are taking the dashboard and center console.
Not sure what is in the dash with modules everywhere but hopefully it's an easy to find issue. Definitely curious the details when they figure it out.

I got an update and it will be awhile before I get another. The PCM, BCM, and battery need to be replaced. They are not sure the order of things broke but thats where they are. The PCM is on nationwide back order and are quoting a month to get it.

They are not sure at this point what happened. I'm still under warranty thankfully. Only have 6 months left so it's good it happened now compared to the spring.
