If a XL single cab had that option (360 camera) available...even at $1,000.00 I would order it. Single cab short bed options are chrome bumpers and 4×4 ONLY..Literally nothing else but dealer addons. If you want a 8' bed you can get various rear end gears and a 5.0 plus with a 8' you do get a 36 gallon tank. It's the most restrictive build ever by Ford for a single cab. Fortunately for me the short bed single cab is perfect! 5.0 3.73 locker 12" screen and dash cluster standard. I almost forgot you can (and I will) get rear privacy glass for $100.00..

I have all of that, but not the adaptive cruise. They confused me with “lane keeping assist”.
My wife’s car has “lane keeping assist”. If you start weaving in the lane, a warning sounds and will ask you if you need to stop for coffee.

That’s a formidable machine right there! That 12” screen is sweet for the XL ?

I got the high package, not for the chrome bumpers or privacy glass, but for the LED fog lights. When I had the 2023 on order, I had planned to change the halogen headlights out for after market LED headlights. They were not only expensive but seemed to cause all sorts of computer problems. Making changes can cause problems that I haven’t even heard of.
Changing to a 2024 was a no brainer. I had added the optional Co-Pilot 360 , 5.0, 4x4, 3.73 e-lock, and cellphone interface. My 2024 has all of those plus LED headlights and XM radio as standard for $2000 less than the 2023.
I also checked with the competition and Ford is about the only RCSB with a V8 available.

Samson16 yes it IS! After about $6,000.00 in mods (slight drop paint to match bumpers handles and mirror cap and tonneau cover) it will be basically a 2024 'Lighting' ..Ordered from Granger it's a really incredible deal.
The one piece painted to match tonneau cover is fantastic for looks and being able to see everything around you.

You forgot to mention FP700. It’s hard to beat 300 HP more. If a little is good, a lot has got to be better.

I agree. Dreams are free. It probably isn’t a good idea to put 700 HP in the hands of a 72 year old anyway.

Dale it makes it much safer to pass..or get away! I would choose a Roush over the Whipple from a cost standpoint. I never had a one piece tonneau cover until I got a 2006 SRT-10 Quad cab and the difference in visibility while driving was striking. That full size topper really blocks you from fully seeing the road and cars around you from the sides and rear. The functionality in my case was about equal. The tonneau cover was 99.999% waterproof but the topper was close. I REALLY liked the look with the little wing on the back too. But if you have to have the higher roof for what you want to carry regularly that's your only option. I found only a very few times I needed to raise the lid to fit a taller load and kept a few bungee cords for that reason to keep the top as low as possible. It was aluminum and fairly heavy so I didn't want to stress the hinges and drove slower on the rough field the 2 or 3 times I had to have the lid up. I really liked the one piece tonneau cover for security especially waterproofing ease of use and of course visibly. Plus (with a wing!) It just looks cool.

I’ll never have another truck without a cap. They’re so versatile and if you have a family that likes to travel you can put all your crap back there. It’s great. I have a bedrug as well. It’s the only way I would go.
