Note: I posted this yesterday as a comment to the shipping thread of this contest but felt it needed to be its own thread to better get my opinion seen.
TLDR:
I won some free floor mats for my RCSB from TripleALiners and they are really high quality and much nicer than the factory all weather mats.
REVIEW:
As most of you probably saw, TripleALiners posted up a giveaway here on the forum. I was one of the lucky winners so I thought I’d do a quick review of their product.
Here is the link to the ones I won. https://a.co/d/gwTHrOE
The mats came folded once over in a large flat box. I removed them and set them in the sun.
These floor liners softened up and laid out nicely after an hour or so in the sun.
Honestly, it’s pretty hard to find something negative to say about them compared to the factory Ford floor mats.
Better material
Thicker material
More coverage in the footwells
Complete coverage over center hump
Molded bead around the edges
Classier (higher trim level) finish and look
By comparison they make the factory liners look like something you would pick up at a car wash.
I appreciate that TripleALiners chose to NOT make them a billboard to advertise the company. They have a very clean look.
The bottom side is covered with 1/8” tall nubs so if you have carpeting, these mats will not move at all. It appears the fit alone is going to keep them securely in place, even with my vinyl floors. (Might get carpeting now because it will be fully protected)
So one potential negative that is a trade off….because this mat is one large unit from door sill to door sill, it’s more cumbersome to install and remove that two smaller mats. But that’s the price you pay for more and better coverage and protection. That’s really the only criticism I can come up with.
Yep, these are staying in my truck.
Here are a couple of before/after and comparison photos.
Thank you TripleALiners
