Do you care?
Care about what? Not the one that's delusional. Find one pertinent part sourced, produced, assembled and/or manufactured in the good ol' US. If the product is legit (what I care about), I'll buy it from anywhere.

Hope you buying American! ?

You might want to check the accuracy of that information on the Ford before you post something like that on a Ford forum. ?

Here is what Grok says when I ask it what percentage of a 2024 Ford F-150 is made in the USA.

“The percentage of a 2024 Ford F-150 that is "made in America" depends on how you define it—typically, this refers to the proportion of parts sourced from the U.S. and Canada, as well as where the vehicle is assembled. Based on available data, here’s the breakdown:

The 2024 Ford F-150’s domestic content varies by configuration, particularly the powertrain. According to the Kogod School of Business 2024 Made in America Auto Index, which uses data from the American Automotive Labeling Act (AALA), the F-150’s U.S./Canadian parts content ranges as follows:
- Models with the 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6, 5.0-liter Coyote V8, and the Raptor R’s supercharged 5.2-liter V8 score a total domestic content of **66%**.
- The all-electric F-150 Lightning has a domestic content of **62%**.
- Models with the 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 come in lower at **52%**.

These figures reflect the percentage of parts sourced from the U.S. or Canada, not just the U.S. alone. The Kogod Index also factors in assembly location, which for the F-150 is entirely in the U.S.—specifically at the Dearborn Truck Plant in Michigan and the Kansas City Assembly Plant in Missouri. Engines are also built in the U.S. or Canada, boosting the "American-made" aspect. However, the remaining parts (34% to 48%, depending on the model) come from other countries, such as Mexico or further abroad, though exact breakdowns aren’t specified in the data.

Historically, the F-150’s domestic content has fluctuated. For example, in 2023, all F-150 configurations scored 65%, but the 2024 model saw a dip for some variants, likely due to changes in global sourcing for components like electronics or the hybrid system in the Lightning. Posts on X have claimed figures as low as 30% for the gas version and 38% for the Lightning, but these seem outdated or misaligned with the broader 2024 Kogod data, which is more comprehensive.

So, for a 2024 Ford F-150:
- **Best case**: 66% U.S./Canadian content (e.g., 5.0L V8 models).
- **Worst case**: 52% U.S./Canadian content (e.g., 3.5L EcoBoost V6 models).
- **Assembly**: 100% in the U.S.

If you’re asking strictly about U.S.-only parts (excluding Canada), the number would be lower, but no precise U.S.-only figure is publicly detailed—Canada’s contribution is typically small compared to the U.S. in Ford’s supply chain. For the most "American" F-150 in 2024, you’d look at something like the Raptor R or a 5.0L V8 model at 66%. Does that match what you were expecting, or did you have a specific trim in mind?”

So what you've just quoted re-affirms my point. It ain't "Made in the Good Ol' USA"! The numbers fluctuate and are skewed across all platforms. It ain't 100% and parts are sourced from all over. Even China. Heaven forbid it ain't solely from this country! GAF what forum I'm posting in. On my 5th F150 in 25 years. Also owned an '02 Ranger and '07 Escape. My wife; '01 Escape, '14 Flex, '16 & '18 Edge, '21 Bronco Sport and now '22 Bronco. To address you Pare, I'm #BlueOval4Life, to address the other member why it doesn't matter cause the MadeInUSA rhetoric is a farse and most often not the best in quality. I mean, we drive a Ford. Ford forums are full of whiners. Will it sway my loyalty to Ford or any product? Hell no! I'm a consumer, I buy for quality and what suits me. If that is all that matters to you or them, well happy searching. I love TripleALiners bed mat! I may have won it for free BUT they make a quality product. Where they source or make their product from I don't care. I'll tell you and everyone else, it has far exceeded my expectations and my DeeZee rubber bed mat is now my garge home gym's mat.

I’m not opposed to products made in other counties, however I prefer not to buy from counties that use slave labor or steal American jobs doing so, or prosecute peaceful religious groups for practicing their faith and put them in reeducation camps, or do all kinds of unfriendly things to hurt the USA. ???

I've always been a major proponent of a rubber bed mat. Literally the very 1st mod to all my trucks coupled with a spray-in. I was fortunate to have been blessed with winning their latest forum giveaway and just received it this past Sunday. TripleALiner's mat is legit. If you're worried about weight...you literally can un-box and install with one hand. Was skeptical and expectations were low considering it's TPE and thin. That's great for my phones but for a truck bed? Did my own test of throwing stuff in the back and literally the texture and grip of the TPE keeps items from moving or sloshing around. Final judgement for major abuse is still up for debate but it has "out-performed" and exceeded expectations far more than my trusty DeeZee rubber bed mat. I'll post up pics when I get a chance...for whatever reason I just can't post to this forum from my phone. For the forums' pic police, here's a shameless plug but if you're on Instagram, check out my truck page @hawaiianstyle_f150. I have a few posts with pics and also a short reel of me installing the mat with 1 hand. I've said it enough on Insta but mahalo TripleALiners for this "simple" BUT high quality product! ????
Mahalo!!! :handsinair: :inlove: :fistbump:

Brah, look in our backyard! This country been doing all that since ever since. You need to take some history classes. Where you get your info from, Fox News? Btw you work in textile, construction, civil servant, hospitality or ag? I mean what jobs they stealing? What unfriendly things they doing to hurt us? Bringing in coke and fentanyl that American chronics are so willing to pay to abuse? It's our oligarchy that funds these cartels.

I apologize to @EL5_Zero and @TripleAliners for going off topic here. Please delete my posts before it gets worse and hopefully this thread remains on topic.

Again I apologize!
