Guessing 4H in reverse?
Seems to be the common theme with the front differential cracking open but I thought that was limited to the 21 models.

Do you have any mods like a lift?
That is sad especially for a new truck.

Same here , ford denied coverage under warranty but the dealership tried again and we got the approval
Same for me. I was denied warranty at my dealership.
I towed the truck to another dealer who seemed way more accommodating on the phone. They looked at it and said they'd fix it, literally no questions asked. I'm just not sure if I got the "stronger" housing or not, I gotta check.
I made them install a cast iron ARB diff cover to try and consolidate the housing a bit.

It appears that there is more than one style of front different housing being used by Ford, and one has extra reinforcement around the pinion. Ford also seems to have discontinued many if not all of the 2021MY housings with part numbers starting with ML3Z, they have been replaced with 2022MY part numbers starting with NL3Z.

Early 2021MY ML3Z housing without added reinforcement:

2022MY housing with added reinforcement (NL3Z-3010-E):

There are four different versions of the front differential housing being sold right now and the part numbers all start with NL3Z (NL3W), but I'm not sure which is best. I'm also not sure if a complete assembly with a NL3Z (NL3W) part number guarantees that an older ML3Z (ML3W) housing wasn't used to build it. If I had to make an educated guess, your part number starting with N probably indicates that you got a revised housing.
