Here is a clip of my whiner.Any chance you guys could upload a clip for me to hear what your hearing from your vehicles?

Yeap, sounds like the same sound. Thanks. It really did for the first week or so, now I don't even hear it anymore, unless I creep through a parking lot slowly or a garage with the windows down.
Really concerned me until I saw the amount of people complaining about it, and after my buddy took his 2025 back at 100 miles to complain about it and was told it was normal and there is no "fix".
From my limited research, it seems that some are quieter/louder than others, maybe something to do with tolerances during manufacturing? It is the same style of gears used in a supercharger that contributes to that distinct whine, so I think I'll just have to whipple this truck sooner rather than later ...![]()
I purchased this 2022 F150 with the 5.0 engine and 10R80 transmission. I didn’t notice this noise until I got it home unfortunately. I contacted my dealership and they claim it’s a normal noise in these trucks. Is anyone else having this issue and is there a fix for it ? See attached video. If you also have this noise please upload a video of it for me to compare. Thank you…
Don't be hard on yourself! We are all here to exchange information and learn from each other.
Enjoy. What a racket. It’s more than likely the straight cut gears in the 10r80 transmission auxiliary pump. Especially when hot they are noisy like most straight cut gears. A lot of people notice this… I have it as well.
Sound like chit, Bra. Must be embarrassing. Here is a clip of my whiner.
Wait you literally made a post yesterday, " My brand new f150, 5.0 has a very annoying loud whining noise that goes up and down with RPM. Does anyone else hace this problem and how do you get rid of it " and since then you have just been commenting on everyone else's posts regarding transmission noise?Sound like chit, Bra. Must be embarrassing.
Good point. They told me to get used to it! Its normal for a ford! And yes I am very angry! Month old truck and its had the brake booster replaced, the front shutters replaced, trans issues! Wiring issues. Whining noises. And some other less serious items. I think you are directing your anger at the wrong people, maybe write a strongly worded letter to Ford? Or return your own truck? I don't know what you would like us to do for you.
