Depending on throttle input, I'm getting a rough upshift 3-4. Happens both in Normal and Eco. I don't use many other modes. Transmission almost seems to slip, with the engine speed increasing between shifts. Anyone else experience this? I have almost 30k miles, '21 Powerboost.

Get it in for service quickly. I have a 18 Expedition that was having issues with 3-4 and 6-7. They had to replace the drums in the transmission which hold the clutch packs. I had 62,500 miles on it. Luckily I bought an ESP and it covered the $4000 bill. The service manager and writers at two dealerships said that they have been having issues with the 10 speed. Hopefully it’s nothing with only 30000 miles but have it checked.

I have a 2018 F-150 and i am having issues with the truck shifting in and out of gear while driving.
I just got it out of the ford garage they had it for 3 months said it was fixed and now it is worse than it was before. any ideas or any one else having this problem?

Anybody ever figure out the trans slipping? Mine seems to be sliping in 3-4 as well.

Sounds like the infamous CDF drum bushing has moved causing improper clutch supply. Trans needs to be disassembled.

Mine does this too. Seemingly only in 3rd gear, and only when I'm deeper into the throttle. Mine also has the harsh 6-5 downshift. Hopefully it blows up and Ford has to replace it. Mine being a 2023, should have the updated CDF drum though.

I have a 2023 with 17200 miles on it. The last few weeks, I, too, have been having weird shifts from 3 to 4 or 4 to 3. Have an appointment set up with the dealer to address. This TSB seems to cover it: TSB 23-2250

Mine does the 3-4 harsh shift when cold. Been waiting for it to get worse before taking it on for TSB 24-2304.

My 2021 5.0 4x4 Lariat had very hard down shifting 5 to 4 and 4 to 3, feels like a car is pushing you from behind or an accident. I went to a guy who works with FDSR he updated all my car modules including ecu ecm etc. All the sudden my truck tranny runs perfectly fine without any problem.

Most dealerships wouldn't tell you about updating because they want your tranny to fail and then you pay thousands or fix it through Ford warranty. All they want is money.

I highly suggest you do the updates first then see how it goes.
