Transmission fluid level check

I have done some searching, and really come up empty-handed.

I have a 2023 F150 with the 5.0 engine and I’m trying to see what my transmission fluid level is supposed to be on the little dipstick at operating temperature
I found where supposed to be in older models and also with the 3.5 and 2.7 inches but not with the 5.0, and current your model. Does anyone have any insight as to where on the dipstick? It should be at operating temp? Thanks!

can’t remember for the 2.7 because I only saw it once but the 3.5 from what I have been seeing should be between three and four. They’re actually a couple of threads in this form in different places that mention it for that engine.

Thanks - @Snakebitten posted for a 3.5 PB it was 3 & 4. Being a 3.5 I assume it would be for non PB as well.

Crazy how info differs depending on where you look. Is this in the owners manual somewhere or just in the service manual you have to pay for?

I'm getting the info from Alldata (paid service), based on the formatting I believe it's a direct copy from a Ford workshop manual.

I measured my trans fluid on my 3.5 EB and its between 3 and 2 from factory. Did they overfill it?

@SALEEN961 I've never heard of Alldata, it looks awesome/useful. I went to their website and they did not have a version available for the F150. Where were you able to get one for the F150? Seems to only be available for Super Duties and the Maverick

Just recently went through this with my cousins’ 14 f150 5.0, 15 f150 5.0, and my 22 f150 pb. It’s most likely correct. It just sucks getting the trans to the temp specified and checking bc you burn the shit out of your arms.
I bet most do not get all the way up to the specified temp and say the level is off. Keep in mind the level changes a surprising amount even over 5*.
