I have a 24 Powerboost XLT. Almost 20k miles. Since new I have noticed a somewhat faint grinding or binding feeling and noise when turning. I did have to trim some of the fabric as it was rubbing on the tire. The vehicle is in 2wd, not 4wd, as I do understand there will be binding when turning in 4wd. Backing or slowly turning into a driveway or parking spot when the vehicle is in electric mode, there is no noise or binding. So I do not believe it to truly be a rubbing incident or something with the axle or wheel itself. It is most noticeable when stopped at a stop sign and then turning while accelerating under load. If the engine is still running but there is no gas pedal input, I don't notice it as much. But that may be due to the fact that my foot is not on the pedal. Is this slight binding sensation normal and I am just overly sensitive or is this a potential issue? I hate going to Ford and having them just say this is normal behavior.

The passenger front tire on mine rubs the fender liner ever so slightly when at full lock to the left and happens when the ICE is running but never when in EV mode. I thought about trimming or rigging up a way to pull the liner back so it would not do this but it's one of those things I just have not gotten back around to messing with since it's now that noticeable or all the time.

Best thing is to try to identify exactly where the noise if coming from. Have someone perform the action when the rubbing noise is made while you stand outside the truck and see if you can hear exactly where it's coming from.

I was going to dive into this sound on my 2024 this weekend. Backing out of my driveway and having the steering wheel fully left makes the front passenger grinding/rubbing sound. FX4 package for what it's worth. I'll be watching this thread for more info!
