TPMS Placard and symbol disable

2024 XL I think I found the Placard disable:

TPMS Placard Pressure Display (TPMSPPD) • FuelG_Delta (FGD)

TPMSPPD disabled • FGD normal

Does that also disable the persistent "tire symbol" also?

I was thinking the APIM may also need to be touched?

maybe "1" so "Centerstack Settings" are enabled, but I don't know what centerstack is??

TPMS are so cheap and the feature a life saver that it's be foolish to not run them. The truck auto learns them so literally no excuse to not have them.

I did buy a 433 Mhz set but don't want them put in until i get new rubber. The wheels are from a '23 xlt and they changed frequencies on me for '24.
One question I have though: It's nice to see pressure for maintenance, ride and performance. But in a sudden blowout the TPMS system isn't going to help me is it??

Sudden blowouts are very rare, leaks on the other hand are common and it gives you time to rectify before being stranded on the interstate trying to change a tire. Twice over the last decade TPMS saved me from having to do some interstate maintenance.
