Have had the tow mirrors on my 2013 F150 and now my 22 F150. Would never go back to standard mirrors. Absolutely love them and I have no blind spots. One of the best features is the blind spot mirror on the bottom when your parallel parking, you can see every curb. Love the way they look on the truck
Awesome. Oxford white BAP that is exactly what i ordered. Great looking truck! Can't Wait!

On the ‘24 trucks, only the non-Powerboost configurations can get factory tow mirrors. It’s a pretty cheap option, really. But adding them after the fact to Lariat or higher trim is $1900 worth of parts. That kinda hurts.
Yes definitely a cheap option from the factory. I figure if I hate them that much I can just wait for a set to pop up when someone upgrades haha. But I doubt I will regret it.

The cab is the same on the F150, F250, F350. Right?

On an F250/F350, it's not a Tow Mirror.
It's just a truck mirror. Nobody thinks they're "elephant ears"

I rest my case. ?

It's a truck with truck mirrors

First time poster. Long time reader. Thanks to various posts on this forum, I was encouraged to switch from fully loaded tow mirrors on my 2022 Lariat, to fully loaded regular mirrors (which I found on ebay).

Despite the regular mirrors not having the ability to expand and retract, the installation was plug and play with no error codes. That said, I have not pressed the expand/retract toggle button on my door panel. I Don't want to risk an error code.

Installation took less than 20 mins, but finding regular mirrors with all the options (Blis, Heated, Power fold, 360 camera, auto dimming, puddle light) was a challenge. I found that the part numbers were not entirely helpful, but the sticker that includes the part number lists out the options with various abbreviations. Oddly, the tow mirrors I pulled off the truck do not have the abbreviations, only a part number, which is: ML34 - 17682 - ADDSMAS and ML34 -17683 - ADDSMAS.

If anyone is interested, I still have the fully loaded tow mirrors. Feel free to PM me. I'll get around to posting them on here in the next couple days.

There is a lot of visibility with the tow mirrors, blind spot monitor, etc.
This right here! I have no idea why my 23 Lariat with BAP had tow mirrors on it but I wouldn't trade them for anything. The blind spot mirrors are the best thing since sliced bread. Super handy in 4 or 5 lanes of traffic and probably saved my life last weekend when people were wanting to occupy the same space I was currently occupying.

does your passenger side mirror have the film or whatever’s on the mirror for auto dimming?

I think just the driver side has auto dimming.

I have a 2023 XLT Powerboost with standard mirrors. Bought clip ons from Amazon and helps a lot while towing.
Do they vibrate and make noise when you’re up to speed?

So after driving around for about a month with the standard mirrors, I have switched back to the tow mirrors. Two reasons: (1) The field of visibility from the standard mirrors is incredibly limited compared to the tow mirrors (and even regular truck mirrors on my previous truck). For me, it almost began to feel unsafe driving around with the standard mirrors - especially in my 157" wheelbase. (2) Aesthetically (which is purely subjective), the tow mirrors (once I switched out the chrome caps for textured black caps) make the truck look more proportional and truck like. My wife and daughter agree, which, in the end, is all the matters.

I've still got the fully loaded standard mirrors in carbonized grey metallic if anyone is interested.
