Ok. Driving home my new to me 2022 lariat. Hoping to swap to tow mirrors. Read a couple of threads that left me with more questions than answers. I do have blind spot monitoring. I do have power folding. I do not have 360 cameras.

is it an easy direct swap? Anything I need to be aware of?

For retro-fitting you might want to consider the less expensive Boost Auto options; physically they're essentially identical to the OE TT mirrors.

There's lots of flexibility to tailor the options you want vs what you have, and on the linked webpage under the "Installation" tab there's a set of pretty good videos explaining the work required for each of the options.

"Easy swap"? That's in the eye of the beholder  .

Good Luck, Have Fun!

PS aside - check the spelling in your profile / sidebar entry for Occupation.

Yes Boost Auto for the win!! Replaced my OEM mirrors on my 2020 Platinum with them. It’s build the mirrors you want or they can match OEM with your vin number. They have Awesome customer service and support. Also 1/2 price of OEM Factory Mirrors! Definitely recommend if you want a great product! Installation was a breeze. 45 minute install.

I contact fairway ford via ebay. Provided my vin and fairway sent the mirrors for my option package. Physical install was very easy. I unplugged the battery and did the work. The only thing that is a tiny bit tricky is learning forscan and activating the marker lights. This is not necessary but I wanted the full stock look.

i got my mirrors (ford OEM ) from local dealer... 900 bucks.. the 360 cameras seem to be giving everyone problems getting them working, but you don't have them so you should be plug and play if your just matching function and not adding anything.. as for the markers its easy to turn on with forscan..

The only thing you will probably missing is the power extend button. Not a big deal to just pull them out. I have them and all the way in I still can see all around my trailer.

Another vote for Boost Auto here. I had blind spot, puddle lights, non power, non 360 cam and the install was about as easy as it gets. I opted for heated upper/lower, NON sequential switchbacks. Very happy with them.
