Totally screwed up my forscan edits HELP!

I don't even wanna post this. I know you guys are going to rip me to shreds. I deserve it go ahead and call me an idiot and everything else. I wanted to make a couple of small edits to my 4 x 4 lariat and I obviously didn't do it right and didn't save in a timely manner. I'm sick to my stomach. I just wanted to turn off the auto start stop and a few other things that are common but I messed up somewhere for sure.

The truck has an alert when I started up that I no longer have precision assist assist, and the auto highbeam function is gone, which I really like. Also, occasionally, throwing up a low battery indicator and the word break in the lower left corner of the dash even though the brake is not on Go ahead and call me an idiot a few times, I deserve it, but I would really like some help as well. I have been working with livinitup for the last week and we have not been able to solve it yet. He sent me the BCM file from another lariat, but that did not help.

It happens (I learned my lesson about a year ago), so Im not going to beat you up for it. I'm certain that @Livnitup has provided you with great advice. What I would do is focus on one thing at a time and move onto the next once something is fixed. How many changes did you make and in which modules? It may take a while to figure it out, but everything you did should be reversible. Did you check the Motorcraft as built site to see if your original values are still there?

Did you check the Motorcraft as built site to see if your original values are still there?

...and if they were overwritten, pulling the AsBuilt for an identical (or very close to identical) truck can be helpful. Between that and the spreadsheets and your values, you can probably see what is wrong.

Did you compare all of the values for your truck vs. the values for the similar truck that @Livnitup provided and note the differences? If so, what were they?

make sure you are LOGGED in
and sometimes caps on in the VIN works better than non caps

Ok here are lots of screenshots. First is a screenshot the info screen showing the DTCs. Next is a list for the BCM of the OTHER 2021 F150 Lariat 4x4 that Livinitup sent me as a comparison file.

After that are the screenshots of MY F150 are in order. I've circled where I've found discrepancies, but none of them seem to be related to pre-collision alerts, cruise (which I also lost), or the auto-headlight function. (all of these errors I'm experiencing seem to be related to the front camera somehow, or am I imagining it???) All of the discrepancies below just seem to be related to tailgate, fob, lock, etc...

Anyway, here are the files. I wonder if the issue is in another module and not the BCM at all. I did make changes elsewhere.

The lines below the blue line are on mine. but not on the Livinitup's sampled Lariat. Not sure why.

I've done this before. Looking at the deltas and my Lariat configuration, I don't think it is BCM. In my case it was changes to the IPMA not matching the APIM. It is a process of getting the modules back in sync. What other module changes did you make? I would avoid updates or other changes until it is resolved.

Just a heads up, i found out the hard way. The as build information gets updated with whatever changes you make at the vehicle. As soon as the vehicle connects to the internet it sends Ford the updated as built and the original is overwritten. Have to create a backup before you begin to make changes.

So, how did You go about getting them back in sync? It's been two weeks now, to the best of my recollection it's limited to APIM and IPMA.

Your very first connection to forscan should have saved your asbuilt data to that computer.....
Go to your default PC "documents" folder

In there resides an "asbuiltdata' directory

Within the asbuiltdata folder you should find your very first connection asbuilt data. 1 caveat, you can't 1:1 it as any updates that's increased the number of fields, which many modules now have more fields, you can't just load it.

Any updates to VINs in the IPMA can propagate out to the radar modules connected to it. If you've boogered up VIN data in a module at the top of the hierarchy like the BCM, it can cause funky things to happen (at least using FDRS).

In my case, I had to go through all of the changes and change them back until I found the conflict. The code will clear immediately or after a couple restarts (or module reset). I pulled your asbuilt but I don't think it had been changed yet. Sometimes it can be awhile or changes may never be posted to the asbuilt (I have been tracking mine over 2 years). I can compare my settings to yours as mine does not have the code. If you use Forscan to create .abt files (save all when editing a module) for your IPMA and APIM and send them to me, I'll take a look.
