Ford has already looked at it. Paint is covered for the duration of the bumper to bumper warranty. This truck has 20,000kms on it and warranty in service date is June 2024.
Ford is willing to pay to have the bed side repainted. My concern is with body shop paint durability vs baked on factory paint. I have no doubt a body shop can make it look better, I’m just not sure how it will hold up for the long run vs factory paint.
