Well, I've gotta face the fact that MS support for Win 10 Pro ends this October (yep, it's already 2025!
) and I'm not inclined to run an OS that doesn't get security updates. (grrrr)
Further, the Dell Refurb E6530 laptop that's served me well since January 2014, supporting 2 external monitors and 4 printers / label-makers, will not support Win 11 (grrrr)
There's not a darned thing I need beyond what my stripped-down, 'looks like Win 7', Win 10 Pro provides.
But, it seems I must now learn to deal with Win 11 (grrrrrr)
So, a replacement Dell laptop has been ordered (E5550).
Wish me luck!
