Very interesting. There goes my theory of the infotainment systems being developed as a safety feature to get folks off their phones preventing distracted driving. On my '97 F 150 I prided myself on being able to operate the heating, defrost and cooling controls without taking my eyes off the road. When the windshield fogged up all I had to do was turn all three knobs to the left and you got defrost, high heat and maximum fan speed that quickly cleared the windshield. On the 22 F 150 I have to take my eyes off the road and hunt for the max defrost button.
