tail gate down camera...super duties have a camera on the top of the tailgate (faces the sky when closed) so when you put the tailgate down to haul stuff the camera shows a rear view unlike when we put our tailgates down we see the ground haha

I’m hoping it would be as easy and getting the camera and the new trim piece with a wiring harness splitter. Hopefully you don’t need a new Apim. I also don’t know if the super duty tail gate is the same think was and the f150 I’ve been meaning to go look at one
Interesting that’s pretty dam cool. I don’t want to use my aux cam because I use that when I have my trailer hooked up. But I’m wondering if I can get that to go with a harness. I’ll see if I can look at the wiring diagram of it at least and go from there I like how you mounted. It to clamp location that’s clean!@Stefanolimotta I pulled the super duty CAD files when they first came out to see and the tailgate cap is different. I ended up pinning a connector under the bed for the AUX cam and wired it into the tailgate then mounted the camera in the clamp pocket. I no longer have that truck so can’t take any photos but it was a cool little project. May be a easier route for you to go.
The blue is one tailgate and the white is the other. You can see how much wider one is.
