I was randomly talking on the phone outside after some yard work and noticed the driver clamp pocket door on the tailgate looked off. Naturally, I pushed it in and one side managed to push in. I couldn't get it back in place so the only option so I didn't lose it was to take it out completely.

It appears one side of the pin came out which caused the door to essentially fall off.

Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? Worst case, I'll make the dealership fix it next time I take it in for service (still on my purchased maintenance plan).

If I recall correctly, you are going to have to pop the gate cap off to reinstall.

Thanks for the reply!

That's exactly what I thought while looking at it. I was hoping someone had an easier trick. I'll make the dealership deal with it. I don't want to be responsible for breaking the clips or plastic cap.
