SYNC4 has connection issues with in a certain location

Has anyone had a problem with SYNC cutting out at certain locations? I live in a town of about 14K people and there is a certain 4 or 5 square blocks that every time I drive to that area, SYNC cuts out with a disconnect message. I can drive outside of town and not have any issues.

Could this be some kind of RFI or cellular interference?

Has anyone else noticed something like this?

BTW, OTA programming for the SYNC module says it is up to date and there are no updates available in FDRS

If you mean your phone disconnects, yes, it could be wi-fi or Bluetooth interference or stronger signals in the same band)

I haven't but that doesn't mean it can't happen. What's your SYNC version on the Settings > General > About screen?

I don't know if the phone bluetooth disconnects, but If I am playing music on Spotify, it disconnects and re-starts.

If the music disconnects and restarts, I'm assuming you're streaming rather than using downloaded music in Spotify. In that case, it sounds like wi-fi interference.

if the Spotify app is quitting and restarting, I'd say it's an app or phone issue.

Yes, I am streaming when it happens.

I need to catch the message and get back to you. I'm not sure how to tell if it is just the app or bluetooth that is cutting out

Also, I had my Galaxy S22 Ultra replaced last week under warranty for a charging issue. That didn't cure the issue

I'll try downloading some music and see if it still does the same thing
