Sync4 Bed camera while driving

I need help getting the bed camera on the side view to display. Anyone know how to get it to work?
My lariat powerboost was build in February 2021 and I did not have access to the hitch or bed camera while driving after 8mph. With the latest update of sync, I was able to add, through Forscan, the bed cam and hitch cam while driving. Only issue that I have now is that the bed cam “card” doesn’t show the camera when the button on the touch screen is pressed. I can toggle between hitch and bed cam using the physical camera button above the touch screen. See photos Any idea what can be done?

I'm pretty sure this was discussed in the Forscan thread, but you likely need a module update to the IPMA before the card will work. Not all modules have been updated via the OTA process, so you'll either need to DIY or get the dealer to update the modules for you. It should start working then.

I've not seen it on my side screen also. But I have a different question on the same thread. Does anyone know how to get rid of or change location of the rear view "Check Surroundings For Safety" message? Its taking up prime real estate in that view. Frustrating.

How did you get full screen of the rear view?. I can’t get this view when I’m driving. When I’m stopped, I see the button for the rear camera but when I press it. Nothing happens.

Jabrego, not sure what dictates the view you get. I’m still trying to figure that out. I simply added the “Camera while in motion” function through FORScan and I get the tailgate, hitch, and bed views available while at any speed. The hitch view is kinda pointless ?‍. Bed view is handy, but the tailgate view is the most useful and it’s got the dang warning right in the prime spot. ?

Have you added camera in motion through FORScan yet?

I’m sorry. Reading back I see that you did add that function. So, sorry I’m not sure how to change from the dual view to full screen view. If I figure it out I’ll follow up with an update. Also if I figure out how to delete the idiot message I’ll post that too.

Sorry, I wasn’t clear, I don’t get the rear view camera at any forward speed. I only get the rear view camera when I’m in reverse. I changed the 3 addresses for “enable cameras at speed” and I only get bed and hitch cameras.

Did you try pressing the camera button again on the side card?
Mine works but I have to press that bottom button (Circled in red). Also, try it when not connected to car play…just for experimentation.

When you press the hard camera button once, What soft button camera view options do you have? I noticed in the Video you hit the hard camera button twice before trying the soft buttons.

have the same buttons as when I have double screen. See photo below. And the rear view soft button doesn’t do anything

Just a thought... There is a setting in @livinitup's ForScan spreadsheet under the APIM titled "Driver Restriction Images" (7D0-01-02). If you're brave enough to play around with it, I wonder if that could be referencing the safety disclaimer shown(?)
