SYNC 4 update on 7/7/25 causes phone call static from Android phone

On 7/7/25 my 2021 F150 got an OTA update to it's SYNC 4 system and the update has caused complete static on both speaker and microphone during phone calls to/from my android phone. The update has not impacted the ability to play music from the phone through the trucks speakers nor has it impacted the ability of my wife's iphone to make/receive clear calls. I spoke with Ford Customer relations and they were unable to resolve the issue and advised me to take to to a dealer for service. However, I spoke to four dealerships in my area and they have no idea how to solve this problem. Steps I have tried include:
1. Deleting my phone from SYNC and re-adding it.
2. Soft reset of SYNC
3. Factory reset
4. Deleting FordPass app from my phone
5. Connecting via USB as opposed to Bluetooth
None of these steps have resolved the issue.
All other connectivity works perfectly (Android Auto, OTA updates, etc.). The only issue is that when a phone call is made or received there is nothing but loud static from the truck speakers and the microphone produces static on the other end of the line. The phone works fine when not connected to the truck and it works fine when bluetooth connected to my other vehicle. Prior to the 7/7/25 update the phone worked fine with SYNC 4 and immediately after the update the issue began to occur. Since 7/7 I have received two other OTA updates (currently running Sync version 4.0.23291_PRODUCT rev. 1049) but the issue continues.
Has anyone else experienced this issue and if so do you have any advice on how to resolve the issue?

Try going into your android auto settings, and turn off wireless android auto and try it with the cable again.
