Is anyone on here located in Ontario Canada and willing to help me test a hypothesis? I've done a normal reset of the Sync system (not master reset) and supposedly refreshed connectivity in the truck with the help of some Ford.ca chat service rep. I'm still getting the wrong address on a location even though the address in the info screen is correct (not correct on the map or direction) and I'd like to see if anyone else would be getting the same thing. Please PM me if you're willing to help!
VIN? PM is fine.

So, the plot thickens.

I understand Ford uses Here for its maps (alternative to Google which is the biggest provider of map APIs). Using the Here online maps, I was able to find both of the locations using slightly different naming. For example, the camp ground I was using is called Golden Lake Park Campground. In Here maps, there are two instances of this location with a slightly different writing. The location I wanted is called Golden Lake Park and Campground (notice the "and") while the original name correctly points me to a tent campground. So then I try this out in the navigation in the vehicle.

The vehicle navigation seems to mix the two names together into a single entry. The nav maps only has the original name (without the "and") and the correct address (the one with the "and"), but the directions take me to the wrong location (the one without the "and").

I have no idea how to fix this. Might just be my bad luck!

Here maps are garbage.

Still show businesses and buildings that have been torn down for 30 years.

I forgot to go back to my truck to test the address again yesterday. I'll try to remember to it later today.

Hi everyone,

Really hoping I can get some help. My sync 4 connected nav is terribly inaccurate. I'm literally parked in front of a building but the nav thinks I'm in a field, and I don't think I ever had weather overlayed on the map. I would appreciate suggestions.

Mine is a 23 and does the same. It will also make the maps on my phone do the same as the screen is showing. I've updated the phone, the app on the phone, tried a different phone, disconnected the phone and tried just the navigation on the screen. Nothing works to get the navigation to work right. Its aggravating. Dealership has been no help. They keep saying ford knows about it and is working on a fix.
