Are you saying that from experience, or postulating? So without this feature you can't even search a address. The navigation is pretty much just a map.

From experience I use android auto now.Are you saying that from experience, or postulating?
No, he is actually correct, you can go into settings and turn off connected navigation. When I did my gps just became a map with no ability to input an address. I do have the 90 day trial that came if you did not buy the connected navigation. Checked my dad's '21 model and did the same thing. He has the 3 years because of the adaptive cruise and all that comes with it. When I turned his connected navigation off you can still search an address. It's all in the Ford F-150 order guide as to what happens at the end of your trial. Are you saying that from experience, or postulating?
I went ahead and paid the $80 for the next year but it pisses me off Ford does this just because you don't have a subscription. Just got rid of my Jeep Wrangler after 4 years and could still use navigation even without an update. From experience I use android auto now.

So, that’s how it is, I’ve been scratching my head trying to figure out the difference. I’m kinda locked in if I want to use it I have to pay the subscription fee. What are the SYNC® 4* navigation options
Ah, I see the difference between Connected Built-in Navigation and Connected Navigation. If you have the built-in, you get to keep the nav function, just with no updates/live info. You get built-in with some trims or options (like Assist 2.0). Good to know. something I didn't necessarily care about because I was going to be using Android Auto mostly anyway, but I will also get built in with my Assist.
Capitalism isn't a dirty word. LolI went ahead and paid the $80 for the next year but it pisses me off Ford does this just because you don't have a subscription. Just got rid of my Jeep Wrangler after 4 years and could still use navigation even without an update.
me too.. 80 bucks.I paid $80 for a year. No monthly option.
Agreed, it’s not actually a bad deal as you save $800 upfront cost on the gps system.Capitalism isn't a dirty word. Lol
Yup, everything dies with it, all you can do is see the map and that's about it.Does the weather services including the Radar die at the end of the trial or three year period?
