Switching back to am/fm help

What phone are you using? Is your music downloaded to your phone? I run CarPlay and with my iPhone the music downloads to phone I have no issues. Have you cleared out pervious phones and started fresh with yours?

Yes, when I lose cell internet.
I don't drive it very often and I'm definitely not "good" with computer type operation so a reliable example of what I've tried when this happens is what I need to come back with here to you guys.
When It happens, and I wait (while driving) for a good signal I get agitated pushing things that I think have worked before and eventually the power "button" thinking it might start over with ANY signal available ie; over the air broadcasting.
Pulling over, turning the truck off, pulling the key and opening the drivers door has worked, but I have to believe it's me doing something.
On the other hand, how i can't work my way out of it short of shutting off and exiting the vehicle is hard to believe that even a computer idiot couldn't push the correct "button" to restore OTA radio.
