Just took delivery of my 2025 Lariat 502A F150. On a recent road trip I was super disappointed in the FM reception. With previous Ford vehicles I could count on getting FM reception 80 to 100 km from the broadcasting locale. With the new F150, that distance appears to be 25 km. At that shorter distance, lots of static in the audio. At longer distances where I would normally expect reception the signal is lost.

Just wondering if there are similar experiences or possible fixes before I drag this into the dealer. Thanks!

I had this happen once, what it was is they paint the truck before the aerial is installed, what happened on my truck is it was a bad ground, they (the dealer) pulled the aerial off, scuffed the hole and paint under the nut, put it back together and it was great from that day on. Just a suggestion. :)

I would get the dealer to look into it. Maybe a loose connection to the antenna?
Thanks for the reply. You were close; a faulty antenna cable apparently was the cause. Will see if a new cable works on a road trip tomorrow.
