I agree. I wanted to do the same with my grille but didn't know what it would look like with the hood latch cutout. Seeing it now makes me regret not going for it since it looks really good.

I would have thought the notch on the Tremor and BAP hood would make the hood latch easily accessible. Not having seen it in person I am not sure why it can't be reached, but maybe a wooden dow rod could be used to push the latch release lever enough to the side to open it.

You can open the hood when you pull the latch. I meant you can’t stick your fingers in there and open it while the hood is closed.

There’s a cut out section on the grill that shows since I don’t have the tremor hood. The tremor hood has a lip that covers this opening. I was trying to say you can’t stick your fingers in this small section and open the hood.

For those wanting the Tremor look, it can be done with a lariat grille. This way you get to pick your color, and not have the cut out at the top. I just imagine that lariat grilles are probably easier to find on ebay than the Tremor grilles.

Finally got around to installing the lariat sport grille. Was pretty straightforward, took about an hour. Everything swapped over easily and fit perfectly. Personally this is my favorite option out of the bunch with a PTM STX in second place.
