At the dealer, picking up from service and guess what? I can't leave the dealership. It won't start. This is the third time.

Good news is Ford published the defect notice today internally. Fix being worked on.

Happy I've documented each occurrence with Ford.

Bulletin says to inform the customer to "Wait and try again, engineering is working on a fix."

No repair was done, just acknowledgement and confirmed Ford is actually working on a fix.

Techs talked to me and between themselves...should have recorded it. In a nutshell the bug is due to a power up handshake failure between a PCM (power control module) and another module I can't remember.

Fix 4th quarter is what the bulletin said. The bulletin was published today.
