Steering wheel patch

I inadvertently put a slice in the leather of the steering wheel on my F150. Can’t believe how pissed I was.

Looking for suggestions on how to repair or atleast patch it to prevent it from tearing more. My wife suggested clear nail polish.

You would be better off replacing it. by the time you try to fix it youll be even more pissed and out money that would have replaced it.

I think you can get the wheel for $170 new now

How hard is it to remove and replace all the switches plus the airbag or does the new wheel come complete? Just wondering.

comes complete minus airbag. Airbag on these are easy to take off.

A good upholstery shop should be able to repair this so it is pretty much invisible. Are you located in downstate as you could probably find one close to the city.

comes complete minus airbag. Airbag on these are easy to take off.

I bought a lariat sport wheel 2022.

So it may be different a little bit depending on where you get it.

The plastic trim is the only thing I know. I looked up a wheel for the guy above and his was 325$ where the one I got was $175 and mine was heated leather adaptive cruise

so even if it’s different you can swap all that out
